History
With its founding in 1908, Harvard Business School was the first university in the world to grant a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Harvard completed the Business School's campus in 1924.
Degrees and Programs
Harvard Business School offers 60 different business-related programs to graduate students. It confers an intensive two-year MBA degree as well as nine PhD and DBA degrees.
Size
Harvard reports that its 2010 MBA graduating class consisted of 900 students, while its incoming 2009 doctoral program class consisted of 24 students.
Campus
Harvard Business School consists of 33 buildings laid out over 40 acres of ground. The campus is home to Baker Library, the world's largest business library, as well as Aldrich Hall, where the majority of classroom instruction at the school is held.
Cost
The 2011 MBA class at Harvard Business School paid an annual tuition of $46,150. With health care, program fees, and room and board, the total yearly expense for single students was $76,600, although Harvard reports that 66 percent of its students receive financial aid.
