Write A Hotel Brochure In Spanish

Write a Hotel Brochure In Spanish

With the United States sharing such a close border to Mexico, it is becoming more and more essential to offer print advertising in both English and Spanish. Hotels are no exception to this trend.

Instructions

1. Decide what you want your brochure to say. What does your hotel offer that you want people to know about? Include information about banquet rooms, conference rooms, suites or room types, restaurant and any awards. These are all important aspects of your hotel that you will want to consider including in your brochure.

2. Be sure to include amenities you offer that would specifically benefit the Hispanic community. Since your brochure will be read by potential guests who specifically speak Spanish, highlight features that will specifically cater to them, such as a front desk staff who speak fluent Spanish and hotel room booking lines that offer services completely in Spanish. These are important things to highlight in your brochure.

3. Write your brochure in English before you write your hotel brochure in Spanish. Watch for typos or grammatical errors since your translator will translate your document word for word. Little mistakes like mixing up the spellings of "dessert" and "desert" could really make your brochure confusing. Read it over numerous time to be sure that it includes all facets of your hotel you want to promote.

4. Submit your brochure to a Spanish translator. There are many businesses as well as freelancers who specialize in translating English text to understandable Spanish text. Be sure to ask for references of past clients, especially when deciding to work with a freelancer.

5. Have a native Spanish speaker read over your final translation. In most cases your translator will do an excellent job, but it's always good to have someone who represents your target population read over your brochure to make sure that it is understandable. Ask your reader whether he would consider staying at your hotel after reading the brochure.
