Design Email Campaigns

Designing Email campaigns is one way you can take control over promoting your business.

An email campaign is a campaign in which you use emails to attract customers, gather information or conduct research. You have several options for designing an email campaign to ensure the campaign reflects your company and you. An email campaign can be customized, however, so you can do as many of these steps as you would like to do.

Instructions

1. Decide the primary focus for the campaign. Choose something you can work with, such as gathering more customers, advertising your products, creating a buzz about your company or touching base with your existing clients.

2. Determine the number of emails to use in the campaign. Most campaigns last from one to three months. You don't want to email someone more than once a week during this time. So, based on the amount of information you have and your goal, choose a number of emails to send.

3. Gather the information you need for your campaign. If you are advertising a company, gather all of the important information about that company. If you are offering something special, gather that information. Divide the information into the number of emails you are going to send.

4. Hire a writer, or someone with campaign expertise, to compose the emails.

5. Gather an email list.

6. Send your emails. Be sure to include a return email address or a link to a place your customers or clients can visit.
