Use Art & Pictures In A Small Bathroom

A lot of people considering decorating the bathroom as an afterthought. Small bathrooms are probably the most ignored, even though they can benefit the most from a little effort. Using art can really improve a small bathroom's appearance and can even make it seem bigger. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Use a large mirror. A large mirror, in addition to the one over the sink, can make the space feel larger. Hang the mirror diagonally (as opposed to directly) across from the sink mirror or light fixture.

2. Hang three or four small frames. Make the art match the scale of the room, so keep the frames to 5-by-7 inches or less. You can put photos or art prints in the frames.

3. Choose one light-colored 11-by-14 inch print or picture. If you prefer a less cluttered look, use one pale picture to brighten the bathroom.

4. Paint the bathroom a light color. It will make the space feel larger and show off your art better.

5. Decorate with a number of small framed mirrors. Use them to emphasize the light without overpowering the scale of the room.
