Get Your Baby Into Modeling And Commercials

Get Your Baby Into Modeling and Commercials

Does your baby have a personality that is larger than life? Are people always telling you how gorgeous he is and that he should be on television? Maybe they are right. Without taking a leap of faith, you will never know. If you want to get your baby into modeling and commercials, there are a few things that you need to know in order to get started. By taking these following steps, you can place your baby leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.

Instructions

Getting Your Baby Into Modeling and Commercials

1. Decide how serious you are about wanting to get your baby into modeling and commercials. Making this happen will likely not be a case of overnight success. You will get many no's before you get to the yeses. If you are willing to be diligent and persistent, your efforts can pay off in the long run.

2. Schedule a photo shoot for your baby. You will need professional color photos that capture all of his wonderful facial features.

3. Choose the best photo of your baby, and send it to a local printing company that prints modeling comp (composite) cards. Have your baby's name printed on the bottom of each card. The comp cards are typically around $1.00 per card. Order enough comp cards, about 100 of them, to last you a while.

4. Create a modeling resume for your baby. The modeling resume should include her age, height and weight. Include a telephone number to contact you or the baby's agent. If your baby has won any baby contests or pageants, you can also list that on her resume.

5. Submit your baby's comp cards to modeling agencies. The resume should be stapled to the back of the comp card. Search for casting calls and auditions via the Internet. Many casting calls will require you to email or mail a photo of your baby. In this case, you will need to send one of his comp cards. If no comp card is requested in advance, be sure to take a few with you to the casting call or audition.

6. Submit your baby's photos to photo contests. Winning such contests will look good on the baby's resume. Some websites that periodically hold photo contests are GreatAmericanPhotoContest.com, TheCuteKid.com and Parents.com.
