Use Aol Radio

Using AOL radio is easy and you don't even have to be a member or pay for the privilege. There are over 200 different radio stations to choose from with various genres of music.

Instructions

1. Check if your computer is compatible with AOL Radio. If you are not already an AOL user, you can access AOL Radio if your computer uses Internet 5.5 or higher and Windows 2000 or XP. Firefox and Netscape are also compatible.

2. Visit AOL.com. AOL no longer charges money to be a member. Click on the Radio@AOL icon. You can use it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you are a Mac user, you may be directed to download some special software to make AOL Radio compatible with your computer.

3. Notice there is a wide selection of stations, including rock, country, jazz, alternative, newstalk and sports and several XM stations.

4. Note the box at the top entitled, "Station". It tells you what station is currently playing, the artists coming up on the playlist and other stations that play the same type of music.

5. Use the button on the bottom left that reads, "Radio Setup" to preset your favorite radio stations. There is a box to the right of that entitled, "Now Playing" which tells you the name of the song currently playing, the artist and the album.
